I've spent much of my life asking questions, listening to people, and figuring out how to put what matters into words.
I'm a writer, author, artist, and teacher. I write profiles and features, books and personal stories, press releases and exhibition materials. I work with artists who need words for their work and with people who have a story they want to tell but aren't quite sure how to tell it.
And I take on projects both small and large.
Maybe you're an artist who needs a compelling description of one painting for your website.
Maybe you have a show coming up and need a press release, artist statement, or exhibition text.
Maybe you've been meaning to get Grandma's stories down on paper while you still can.
Maybe people have been telling you for twenty years:
"You should write a book."
Maybe you should.
I can help.
My job isn't to make you sound like me. It's about asking good questions, listening for the interesting parts, finding the shape of the story, and helping you tell it in a way that sounds like you.
